Where did the name Pinkbike come from?
In its early years, pinkbike.com was run from the basement of a house in British Columbia, Canada. The name pinkbike.com was originally thought up as a joke - the antithesis of names like "extremebiking.com" or "hardcorebiking.com." As time passed, word spread, and Pinkbike grew into the world-renowned source for mountain bike news it is today. See more from the early Pinkbike days here.
